Where is Kew Village Market?
Kew Village Market is held in Station Parade and Royal Parade, TW9 3PZ, near Kew Gardens tube.
Station and Royal Parade will be closed to traffic on market days from approximately 8am to 3pm (except for residents requiring access to their property).
Parking in Station and Royal Parade will be suspended on the days of the market. Parking is available in the local vicinity.
The market is right next to Kew Gardens station which is on the District tube line and the Richmond to Stratford overground.
Buses that stop within 5 minutes walk of the market are: 65, 391 and R68.

What type of stalls are at the market?
The market normally has 36 stalls these being a mixture of food and craft stalls and a local charity stall. Do you take last minute bookings for a market?
No. We have to obtain a traders licence for each stall from Richmond Council and this process can take 15-20 working days.

Public Liability Insurance.
All stall holders at the market must have Public Liability Insurance of £5,000,000. This is a requirement from Richmond Council. A number of companies can provide this cover on an annual basis (covering stalls for other events such as Kew Fete) for a cost of around £55. Cover can be obtained from Companies such as:
How much is a stall?
- £50 for residents/businesses within of the Borough of Richmond
- £60 for residents/businesses outside of the Borough of Richmond
The prices are different as this includes the Richmond Council Licence fee which varies depending if you are within the Borough or not.
How big is a stall?
Each stall is approximately 3m x 3m. Please note there is no electricity.
Richmond Licence Fee
Stall-holders have to pay a fee to Richmond Council for a one day street trading licence (included in the licence fee to the market). This is £15 for Richmond Borough residents and £26 for those from outside Richmond Borough. This cost is included in the stall holder fee and KVCM will apply for these on traders behalf. Two recent passport photos of the stallholder are required for this application.
