KVM Newsletter July 2014

Come and join us!

‘A wonderful monthly treat for our village… A great addition to Kew life… Brilliant for the local community… Such a good place to visit each month!’ It’s clear from our comments book how much the market – run entirely by volunteers with all the organising profits going donated to local charities – is enjoyed and valued.  However, we really need more help on market weekends and if you could spare a couple of hours once a month, whether on a regular or occasional basis, we’d love to hear from you: please email admin@kewvillagemarket.org. We especially need extra pairs of hands for the August market, when many of our regular volunteers are on holiday – so if you’re able and willing, do please get in touch and join in the fun!

As it happens Chris Stileman, whose superb lamb and rose veal has such a following among Kew Village Market customers, will also be away for August so she’s asked us to let you know that she’ll be bringing extra lamb this month so you can stock up your freezer till her stall returns in September.

And now for something completely different among our usual 35 stalls: RealDesignArtWork. We’ll be welcoming artist Gabor Taczos who’ll be spray painting live, creating custom-made artworks before your very eyes. So on Sunday you’ll have some street theatre, in the form of street art, to add to delicious street food and sunshiney street music, courtesy of popular favourites The Elastic Band.

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday 6th July from 10am to 2pm!
