KVM December 2013 Newsletter

Christmas is coming…

…and Kew market’s getting fat – we’re up to capacity with 36 stalls in total, including 23 of your favourite food producers and 11 craft stalls offering a wealth of  wonderful gift ideas and seasonal specialities. You’ll find a list here of all the stallholders who will be with us on Sunday 1st December.

We’ve also got a few Christmas gifts for local charities (all the operating profits from the market are donated to good causes). Cheques totalling £4,000 will be given out to:

  • Kew Community Trust (£900 for a larder fridge and a freezer)
  • Kew Riverside Primary School (£1,800 to subsidise the school journey for pupils who otherwise couldn’t afford to go)
  • Victoria House (£900 for three wheelchairs for residents)
  • Kew Sparkle – £400 to help light up everyone’s favourite Christmas party (on Friday 6th December from 5 to 8pm in the village).

There’ll be plenty of party spirit at the market too with music from the fantastic Elastic Band and carols from The Avenue Club Choir (average age of 80!). Do come along to swing along, to sing along and get that festive feeling going!

Looking forward to seeing you at Kew Village Market on Sunday 1st December from 10am to 2pm

Please note that there will be no January market – the first Kew Village Market of 2014 will be on Sunday 2nd February.
